Apple Pie Oatmeal

Apple Pie Oatmeal
1 Cup Harvest Health Foods Organic Rolled Oats
2 Cups Water or Non-Dairy Milk
1 Medium Chopped Local Apple (Leave the peel on for texture and color
1/2 teaspoon of Harvest Health Foods Ground Cinnamon
Honey or Maple Syrup for sweetness
 
Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan with a lid.  Bring to boil, cover with a lid,* turn to low and simmer for 5 minutes.  Check after 4 minutes to stir and add additional liquid if desired.  
Take off heat and sit for 2 minutes to continue to cook.  
Drizzle with the desired amount of honey or maple syrup. 
Enjoy.
 
Refrigerate any leftovers for breakfast the following day.
 
*if making oats to soak overnight cover with a lid after bringing mixture to boil and refrigerate till morning.  Reheat or enjoy cold.
